Couple years back, the way to get away from office hassle is to hind in the bookstores. With internet shopping and Amazon expansion, we lost Border totally and B&N is shrinking as well. We really miss the adventures of browsing through the book jungle. Who is the luckiest one this year?!?! This is a Geek Easter tradition according to Nana. Each one at the East Family dinner will have his/her own red egg. Before dinner started, every one sits around the table and knocks the egg with each other till one of eggs crack. The winner will go to the one with intact egg. The winner will go next run with the other winner of the other pair. Whoever goes around the table for all the egg knocking without cracking the egg shell will be the luckiest one of the year....Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7071684008966293153.post-22602157796927598302012-03-01T21:22:00.001-05:002012-04-25T23:04:35.946-04:00New Page

This song ringing in my ears...

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to? do you know?
Do you get what you're hoping for?
When you look behind you there's no open door
What are you hoping for?
Do you know?

Once we were standing still in time
Chasing the fantasies that filled our minds
You knew i loved you, but my spirit was free
Laughing at the question that you once ask me

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to? do you know?

Now, looking back in all we pass
We've let so many dreams just slip through our hands
Why must we wait so long before we see
How sad the answers to those questions can be?

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to? do you know?
Do you get what you're hoping for?

When you look behind you there's no open door

What are you hoping for? do you know?
Like everywhere in the world, parents in Hoboken send their kids to different programs to ensure they are stimulated properly. At the end of the year, we wonder how much that kids have absorbed and transformed? We have done the nature part, and how we can tell the nurture parts? Listening to Mozart's piece resonating in this classic German Church from our children peacefully, I have my faith to the futures..Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0732 Hudson St, Hoboken, NJ 07030, USA40.745647574422421 -74.027552604675340.744144074422422 -74.030020104675287 40.747151074422419 -74.0250851046753tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7071684008966293153.post-75283148246533531082011-11-27T22:50:00.001-05:002011-11-27T22:53:56.502-05:00Thanksgiving Mystery

It is time to celebrate Thanksgiving with my side of families. My Super Aunt Sophie was preparing 20 people meals starting 7 days before the date. The bird on the Thanksgiving dinner table was not a turkey but a goose which is a traditional entry shown in Chinese banquet. It took Auntie seven days to prepare this bird. It was so delicious beyond descriptions. However, no one could figure out why there were two tangerines inside the bird. Trust me, this is definitely NOT Chinese or Taiwanese way. This is pure creation from my Super Aunt.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7071684008966293153.post-1551248937414820452011-10-12T22:05:00.001-04:002011-10-12T22:05:50.355-04:00Fashion Designer

At that time, the shop owner still used the cocktail shaker to ensure a nice layer foam layer at the top of the drink. That is the bubble tea I remember. Somehow the definition of bubble transforms from foam to tapioca!! The size of tapioca grows into jumbo size!! The foam is disappearing in every bubble tea I could find in US....Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7071684008966293153.post-30838474789228759582011-01-16T21:55:00.003-05:002011-01-16T21:57:05.247-05:002011 Lookout

A Hoboken dance studio is putting up a year end show for a good cause. Parents of students get together with all available resources to make it happen. Kids from all different ages were all excited about the dance and were willing to put extra efforts for rehearsals.
