Do You Know Where You Are Going To?
This song ringing in my ears...
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to? do you know?
Do you get what you're hoping for?
When you look behind you there's no open door
What are you hoping for?
Do you know?
Once we were standing still in time
Chasing the fantasies that filled our minds
You knew i loved you, but my spirit was free
Laughing at the question that you once ask me
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to? do you know?
Now, looking back in all we pass
We've let so many dreams just slip through our hands
Why must we wait so long before we see
How sad the answers to those questions can be?
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to? do you know?
Do you get what you're hoping for?
When you look behind you there's no open door
What are you hoping for? do you know?

Recital
Like everywhere in the world, parents in Hoboken send their kids to different programs to ensure they are stimulated properly. At the end of the year, we wonder how much that kids have absorbed and transformed? We have done the nature part, and how we can tell the nurture parts? Listening to Mozart's piece resonating in this classic German Church from our children peacefully, I have my faith to the futures..

Nice to Have A Friendly Shop Around....
This deli shop is on Willow Street and right next to the dance studio. The place usually serves breakfast on weekends and closed around noon. For the past weekend, the shop was opened on Sunday to assist those hard working dancers and dancers' parents. At one point time, the owner even pull out extra tables and chairs for those patient parents.

Tartan Day
Haven the best lobster roll in the town, all kids are happy, grown up just like to have some spirits to age the pleasant memory. Tom pulled out this very baby and we all lightened up. Voices in my head urged me to take the shut to catch this moment.
Couple days after, we had a bad day at work and felt like having some shots. I pulled up this pictures to show my friends who have scottish with their blood to ease the stress. It turns out that this picture was shot at Tartan Day!
Happy Belated Tartan Day!...

Bubble Tea
Still remember my first bubble tea back in 1987, Taipei, Taiwan. At that time, the shop owner still used the cocktail shaker to ensure a nice layer foam layer at the top of the drink. That is the bubble tea I remember. Somehow the definition of bubble transforms from foam to tapioca!! The size of tapioca grows into jumbo size!! The foam is disappearing in every bubble tea I could find in US....

Nutcracker 2010
It is the holiday season. A Hoboken dance studio is putting up a year end show for a good cause. Parents of students get together with all available resources to make it happen. Kids from all different ages were all excited about the dance and were willing to put extra efforts for rehearsals. All those great spirits demonstrated from kids and parents show us what the wonderful community we are living in. We were very happy to be part of it and recorded some precious memories.

Found these interesting puppets created by this talent artist, Jacquelyn Morgan, in the Art and Music Festival. None of all the puppets are exactly the same but they all look so vivd and are full of characters.

Kiss a Girl - Keith Urban
I was not a country fan. But this is very funny one. You have to admit that Keith Urban is a professional singer..Interesting part here is that Keith was not even born in America and yet a great country singer..

Chilaxing
W hotel is opened in the town. We brought the whole family to this new place for a different experience after girls' dancing recital.
While it was too early to seat us for the dinner, we were hanging in the lunge area to chill and relax. Looking into the menu, I saw the name of this drink (i.e. Mango Ginger Mojito) popped out and decided to give it a try.
Amazingly, the drink is surprised refreshing. With such as delicious drink at hand, seeing girls playing with fancy games in the lunge, I felt that we were in some sort of fancy European trip without spending any money on the air fair. Different from the feeling in New York, we enjoyed the slower pace and more friendly hospitality. It made me love to live here more...

New Lives in Hoboken
There are lots of new constructions in Hoboken. Residents try very hard to keep every piece of green park.
On the other hand, I found our friends are trying to couple with the new changes as well. They flew over and have their new generations born here, this mile square town, just like we have done..
Something in Hoboken attacks people all over the worlds. People (and all creatures) live in this little town peacefully. We don't have to always agree with each other. But we allow the differences and learn from each other and grow up together. I hope that we can bring up a president of USA or some sort of importance person from this place. Because it is a wonderful place, because this is how the whole world should be..

The Turning Point @ Hoboken is Opened
Six months after the posting, the Turning Point is finally opened at Hoboken Pier 14. With the fantastic midtown Manhattan view, it is really a treat to have a *NICE* cup of coffee in the morning while waiting for the ferry.
What a wonderful life is to start a day like this.
